In the spring of 1994, armed with the idea that a studio designed by artists for artists would promote the best creative environment, Bob Munroe, John Mariella, Kyle Menzies and William Shatner founded C.O.R.E. Digital Pictures.

C.O.R.E. is a Toronto-based company and creator of digital visual effects and animation for feature film and television. The studio is a full production and output facility offering a broad range of services. Highly refined pipelines, talented staff, experienced directors and supervisors enable the company to produce outstanding visual effects and animation with exceptional efficiency.

C.O.R.E. has attracted some of the industry’s top talent and has built four divisions with a combined staff of over 300 people: – C.O.R.E. Visual Effects, C.O.R.E. Toons, C.O.R.E. Film Productions and C.O.R.E. Feature Animation.

In 2004, to further extend its presence in the feature animation market, C.O.R.E. announced a producing partnership with L.A. based Radar Pictures. Radar Pictures is the producer of films such as: THE LAST SAMURAI, THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK, MR.HOLLAND'S OPUS and RUNAWAY BRIDE.
